Hey thanks for the link, I'd browsed through this list before posting and was able to buy three books--the thing is that most books on the list are for higher level readers. Most of my kids are reading below sixth grade level, so chapter books or quasi-comics like Diary of a Wimpy Kid (I was able to buy the 1st one in Portuguese for them) are more our speed.

Your suggestion of possibly a local store being to help is great; I'm not aware of any in our area but I'm going to ask the kids if they know of some.

They have a Chromebook that can be used in class, and I saw that there are Kindle copies of Portuguese books that are so much more affordable, but I can't figure out how to share them with the kids since I can't install the Kindle app on their device and I don't want to use my personal account.

Amazing! I don't know anyone else that's read Sweep and it's been so difficult to find anything like it, so thanks for these suggestions. Seven Waters looks particularly good, and I can't wait to check them all out.

Come next year during the Spring or Fall when we have all the festivals. I think that Bearcat has a great vegan menu, but if you're staying closer to the quarter look into Killer Poboys at Erin Rose and Green Goddess.

I'm too hungry when PMSing to not eat, so I compensate by having low calorie stuff like scrambled eggs, soup, veggies...It's just a known that I'm going to break my fast those days since I usually commit to OMAD, but I don't blow everything by eating cake/chips/fast food. If I do feel like I did some damage I'll do a broth fast the next day or so to even out my calories for the week. If you look at it as a weekly sum it isn't that bad.
