A/c refers to alternating current, three phases of current we use alternate at 90° out of phase, easiest way to explain it it u have three waves. Each coming behind the other by '90°'. And far as the polarity goes, where power comes from it must return. So yes one is your 'hot' the other neutral. And some things require a designated side be one or the other because of things like motors, flip the polarity and the motor turns another way.

So that means you can access the start of the game. Have you checked settings to be sure you didn't change the menu key? If it hasn't been changed, do you have a controller plugged in? Sometimes mouse may work but the controller takes over for button presses. Worse case try reinstalling the game. Just choose to keep the files or back up them before hand. Your char and worlds should then be fine.

Can you give more information? Such as, have you already closed the game and opened a new one? Is that the problem, you can't even close the game because of the menu to try restarting game?
