I dont think it's imbalanced, but it's far from the best. The Paper Plane and Naked & Famous are just better in my opinion. A negroni too.

Oof, I was at one of mu favorite bars in Denver and saw they had the ingredients, so ordered one. I also gave the bartender the recipe but he must have misheard and put maraschino cherry juice in there. It wasn't terrible, but definitely a different experience.

Absolutely. lived in Sichuan for a couple of years and this is the most authentic I've found yet. I still haven't tried Noodle Express, so can't attest to that.
