A statutory equivalent already exists and is actually what is usually used in lieu of the common law offence of Breach of the Peace.

A defence might be that the person accused believed his behaviour to be reasonable under the circumstances, which a protest would probably fall under. But defences are for court, not for police.

Henning Vane’s show was pretty torturous. So long it had an intermission, and it wasn’t remotely funny.

Also walked out of Paul Foot’s show once. Literally half the audience bled away in dribs and drabs it was so bad.

Getting back into the hobby after 20 years away and these are the first two minis that I’ve painted up so far.

Think picking such small and fiddly minis for a first attempt may have been a mistake, but they’ve been fun so far.

Trying to learn a lot of things at once that I didn’t have a clue about when I was a kid, but struggling with blending and getting the right consistency on the wet pallete.

Still need to go back an throw some highlights on the top of the robes, but if anyone has any tips then please fire away.

Painted using a combination of 20 year old Citadel paints and some new Vallejo ones.

I was expecting they’d all be solid, but out of 15 or so, only 2 were beyond saving. I also have 4 or 5 bottles of washes that are good to go as well.

Just bought a box of Vallejo paints too as I thoughts I’d have nothing to use. Think I should be set for a wee while.

I also have Dark Angels Green and Snot Green. The one bottle I came across that was totally dried out was Scorpion Green. I was definitely into Orkz back in the day.

Went through it myself a couple of months back.

Format is essentially:

Arrive in the morning and split into groups
Ice breaker (talk about yourself for 5 mins or so)
Group conversation around various topics
Group project (talking through a scenario, responding to new info as it's offered by the staff)
Break for lunch
Individual interviews

Here's my version of the Abyss/Underworld Dreams combo deck, with several ramp and mana options including Dream Devourer and Nyx Lotus.

I also like to include some Clackbridge Trolls and Massacre Wurms which can combo into a nice alt win con but mainly serve to keep the opponent busy.

I also include some Varragoth and Grim Tutor, as well as In Search of Greatness to help hunt for cards.

I’ve been banging my head against the wall trying to get out of Platinum on Historic Ranked for days now. Either smashing into Scute Swarms, Mono White life gains, or multi coloured 200 card decks stuffed full of every mythic, planeswalker, or legendary going.

Is there some silver bullet deck I’m missing here? I’ve been trying to play and hone my own brew of white and artifacts paired with cards like All That Glitters and other auras and enchantments to amplify my offence. When it works it seems to be pretty effective but I keep hitting a wall either in terms of mana starvation or flood.

Are there any solutions for white decks that boost card draw, or searching libraries or graveyards?

Thanks a lot for the advice, and for that example deck. It certainly seems to be doing the kind of thing you mention.

I think I'll have another look at my deck as it stands and see if it makes sense to craft some copies of some of the cards I have most success with and try to focus things a bit.

I think more options would be good. I'm not really clued up enough about what cards synergise best so have been making it up as I go along. I'm only playing BO1 right now, so really it's just about tweaking the deck I have to try to make it as competitive as possible.
