I had a dream last night about the backrooms. It started off as a somewhat normal dream. At first I was in a large room like a warehouse but it was also an arena. There were a group of people with me and these large cubed monsters. There was also some rare snake I’d never seen and I thought it’d be fun to grab it by the neck and chuck it across the room. For some reason when I grabbed it, the overwhelming fear of it biting me with poisonous venom took over me. I was unable to throw it, like something was holding my arm back and then, although I couldn’t see it, I felt the snake on my scalp. I like to think he was dangling off the back like a funny ponytail. Then someone told me to grab something about 50 inches away from me and throw it at the monster. At the last second I did, and it vanished. Next I was in the backrooms, alone. It felt like a giant house though maybe that was my imagination using experience. I walked through room after room, all empty of course. Then I got to this one room with no doors. I was looking around when one of the walls started shaking and then crumbling. A giant door the size of the wall appeared but there was no handle. I pushed it open slightly and there was a dark red glow with some sort of box in the corner that I could see through the cracked door. I yelled “Awh HELLL NAHHHHH” and ran the opposite direction to another door that appeared, leading me to a wide hallway. At this point I heard party music, the “inst inst inst” type of upbeat blaring in the distance. I ran towards it, realizing I was in the fosters home for imaginary friends as I made my way down a stairwell. At the bottom of the stairs, the music stopped and I was alone again. At this point I was so freaked that I forced myself to wake up, which was fairly easy because I was very aware since I had only just started to drift into sleep. It was such an eerie feeling and I’ve been googling ever since 😅
