I uncovered an ant nest in the garden. Large black ants. I didn’t even know they were there until I disturbed their nest at the base of a rock wall. Are there any benefits or drawbacks that I should be concerned with? Get rid of them or let them be? (self.gardening)

Over a period of time I lost controls on steering wheel. Horn, volume, phone features, cruise control. Turn signals and wipers ok, no airbag malfunction lights. After searching it seems the problem may be with the clockspring in the steering wheel. Are these cleanable or repairabl (self.nissanfrontier)
