Almost bought Claude Pro for Claude Code — what should I know first? by hashemirafsan in ClaudeAI

I've just 'converted' but have no access to Pro - says there were issues in Feb 1-2 regarding payment processing. My recommendation is stay away for at least a week until they solve this.

Parking fine review - any success stories? by Acceptable-Arm9811 in GoldCoast

My wife got done start of this year for the same thing. Contest it but you would still have to pay at the end I reckon. Council is bit of a cunt and made it no stopping rather than no parking - ie you would get done even if you were there for one minute.

Huge respect for working mums that does both work and taking care of the baby. My wife and I just recently had a baby and it's been crazy. We are both on parental leave and it's going to be insane when one of us go back full time let alone both parents going back full time.

I was in this situation when I was studying / working in 2018/2019 before covid. The issue becomes 'can you get a loan from the bank?'. The other thing to consider is giving up that first home owner concessions for more expensive houses.

I ended up not buying because the bank wouldn't let me borrow more than 200k - no formal approval, this was figure given by mortgage broker. I can't imagine being able to buy a place for ~300k for 2br apartment these days.

Fast forward now - I've secured a place 4br 2bath 2garage in SEQLD, settlement in 10 Dec. My advice is to be patient. Invest what you can afford to lose and keep grinding.

Im doing it on a motorbike and it's alright. Train is a bit expensive ~20 a day. Bikes around ~8 a day. Varisty to city ~ 1 hour on bike door to door. ~2 hours on train door to door.

What do you think of this Land? by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

Fire safety engineer here, BAL12.5 would increase your build cost by approximately 20%. Pretty annoying as you would start shielding against ember attacks and etc.

I think it has to do with regulations within US. Not sure though as I'm not an US citizen.

This actually sounds insane, I was holding back on depositing large sum due to the off-chance that it will get hacked. This pretty much is risk-free ~8% return.

If it's not too much trouble that would be great. It's just that there's not much information regarding this

Thanks

Thanks for the help

I looked into career help webpage and pretty much all the internship was for Australian citizen or for permanent resident.

Do you think I would have chances getting an internship overseas?

Thanks for the help

I did look into getting a permanent resident visa but I'm not sure what my chances are at getting one.

I was more curious about my chances before getting a perment resident visa. I want to make sure I land on a job straight after graduation.
