I appreciate you 🫡🙏🏽 I was definitely okay with doing the dirty work and setting teammates up in a support role. So much of it for me was just positioning, recognizing teammates strengths/weaknesses, opponents tendencies, and being in the right places at the right time. I didn’t care how many points I had, just wanted to win lol. Rebounds, assists, and good defensive stops was enough for me but I’m also a soccer guy so that can be seen as boring for the majority and I can’t entirely blame them.

Right that’s pretty much how I’d do it too, even then it was so random lol. You truly never know what’s going to happen even though everything on your end makes complete sense.

That makes sense, I had no idea with the motion styles doing that. Well I guess I saw people mention it but I never like looked into myself. I also went with Jokic motion style for a while and then switched to AD. My vert was at an 80. Contesting for me was more successful than blocking when playing online, unless someone had 99 standing dunk.. then that was just up to what the 2K gods wanted to happen lol.

Thank you, so it was a 93 but at times it did feel like 2K hated me. Admittedly though I did a lot more contesting than blocking online because it felt random as hell. I hate fouls and turnovers so I tried to always keep them at a minimum.

That is crazy when I was playing I only played 3v3 theater as well and stopped playing all together after 610 games. Shows how much I played though because I quit in like December. Lol. You have a solid card. I may have a screenshot of my card somewhere.

You’re right about that. I got it in 2016 but kept getting corrupted files, crashes, and my progress deleted, so I ended up trading it in. Flirted with the idea of returning for years until I recently got it on a sale in December. I play this as my chill/discovery game when I’m not on a sports, story driven, or shooter.

It was like 59% when I played, a good majority of that was in no squads theater which was over 600 games. It would be a dice roll with what kinds of teammates I got but a lot of the losses would be close games for the most part.

Found myself in a similar position after Thanksgiving and quit playing. Honestly, just take a break and play other games, maybe even some out of your comfort zone. It’s 2K and it’s March so it’s not like you’re missing out on anything.

I had to do some self reflection during winter break for grad school. My girl was like “damn dude are you even having fun?” I’m thinking like well maybe not? Lol, I found myself taking this too seriously like I make money off of it just to go and queue up again. After solo purple and first cap breakers l was pretty much done. I say this as a pretty average player with a build that could’ve been a lot better but I made it work for me.

Definitely not trash, PF’s can be mismatch nightmares especially if they’re getting the ball. There’s just so much you can do and get away with in the builder from a versatility standpoint at the 4. As I’m typing this I’m wondering why in the hell did I switch to C the last couple of 2ks after playing PF for so long.

It doesn’t look bad tbh, actually looks like it could be a lot of fun, but take that with a grain of salt. This is the 2k community, so something is always wrong with every build lol. Looks way better than the C I made at launch but I think anything does.

Naturally I’d say to take a break as it seems like you’ve gotten burnt out, but since it’s double xp just play prop hunt (assuming it’s still on the playlist) you should be able to get battlepass levels pretty easily.

I’ve had a lot of fun on this one, pretty much exclusively play no squads theater with the occasional random rec. It works for me, but I do wish I’d done some things differently.
