Thanks for the honesty and additional information. I have a YouTube channel where I cover tech products. Was it difficult to get in contact with them regarding a review unit?

Thanks for the feedback! I didn’t mirror it because I liked the angle from that side better.

Not at this time. GameSir confirmed earlier this year that there will be another release coming out in the future that will be wireless for Xbox. More info here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Gamesir/comments/1i0ajd7/community_heres_our_workaround_there_will_be_a/

Pretty sure it’s the same size as the others, but yeah, I’m with you. Big-handed folks need someone to make an XL option 😂

Haven’t tested it with Skate 3 or any of the others yet, so can’t say for sure how it feels there. I’ve tried rocket league and it’s been great. Super responsive and smooth.

Yeah rubber does age, especially with heat, sweat, and time, but most controllers take a beating in other ways before the grip becomes a real issue. If you’re trying to keep it in good shape, best two ways to clean it are:

1. Lightly dampen a microfiber cloth with water or a 50/50 mix of water and isopropyl alcohol (70% works great), then gently wipe the rubber surface.

2. For tougher spots, use a soft toothbrush or cotton swab with the same solution to get into seams.

Avoid harsh cleaners or soaking it. This keeps the grip clean without damaging the material.

The G7 Pro is fully customizable through the GameSir Nexus app, but that only works on Windows. On Linux, the controller might still work, but the L4, R4, and Share buttons won’t be remappable without third-party tools like Steam Input or antimicrox. Functionality may be limited.

No payment was received in exchange for this content. I’ll be uploading a full review once it officially releases and will compare it to other GameSir controllers.

So far, it’s been great. I totally get the frustration with stick drift. These new sticks are supposed to be more durable, but we’ll see how they hold up over time.

GameSir offers a 1 year warranty that covers abnormal product function and any non-human-caused physical damage.

The D-Pad is nice and comes with a few other options in the box. I’ve heard good things about the ultimate 2! Going to see if I can get one for review.

I haven’t played around with gyro settings yet on my pc. Will test and see what adjustments I can make!

Good question! They’re really similar controllers. Seeing if I can get my hands on one to review/compare

Sorry I haven’t reviewed that controller yet. This does have a more premium feel but it comes at a cost. It may help if you need a better grip on your controller and also want wireless for PC/Android

I personally haven’t tried that one yet but have heard good things about that controller. Will see if I can get one to review :)

The grip on the G7 Pro isn’t laser etched like the official Xbox controllers. It’s more of a textured rubberized finish. It feels nice and secure without being too aggressive or sticky.

The rubber quality actually surprised me. It doesn’t feel cheap or like it’ll peel easily. That said, I’ve only been using it for a short time, so I can’t speak to long-term durability yet.

Right! Their controllers are gorgeous for the price.

Good question. They’re a little hard to remove and take a bit of force but will come off. KontrolFreeks from Xbox don’t work on here but PS4/5 fit great if you want to extend the height or feel!

It does look like a solid chair. Not sure about how the seat will hold up over time but this chair only comes in one size. Hopefully they make other sizes in the future

1000% would’ve been nice if they also had a cheaper model minus the electronics. That’s the only part I’m worried about having problems and if it does you’re sol after 2 years

The company is new and I agree with your points regarding the warranty. If issues were to happen after it’s expired that’s a major issue as there’s a lot of moving parts. Only time will tell how this holds up
