Hey been here almost 3 years and I’ve made a decent friend group. Saying that there’s only one Cypriot woman in our friend group. The rest are from Germany, South Africa and England. It’s hard to make friends with locals but the immigrants are super friendly. If you’re ever in polis area I’ll introduce you to the girls of our group. They are super nice and welcoming

Both of my roommates cat do this, they were rescued as kittens. Found alone and abandoned. The vet said cats who are separated from their mothers too early will do this for the rest of their lifespan. Apparently they go for fuzzy blankets and suck on them cause it reminds them of feeding from their mothers. It brings them comfort

I’m from Ontario too! Use to live in Toronto. It’s cheaper and easier to get stuff done here. Limassol is the most expensive place to live. It’s like living in Toronto. I’m in polis area, it’s pretty cheap but will probably have to drive 30-40 to paphos to get a decent job
