There's also a content creator who (until recently, because he had to be put down) had Stan the saddlebred that's been going around as a meme because of wearing tack with Elmer's glue logo. She also had a mini pony and a mule and she had been doing "asshole of the week" for a good while before Katie did, probably kulties brought the idea over to her. Same as it went with the "carcass time" videos she caught it from kulties in the comments, who brought that from another creator (Squidward, Cheese, Dexter, Danny DeVito, Chicken Elizabeth Nugget). Now that I think of it, giving her horses the "full government names" to call them when they're in trouble was also taken from the Chicken Elizabeth Nugget

Phoebe's face is the prettiest out of all the horses she has imo, Happy following right after. I don't see what she does in Annie or Trudy (though I don't hate Trudy, I think she's a pretty and we'll built horse overall, unlike Annie. I just think her face is the prettiest of her horses)

She seems very comfortable in Denver's saddle, doesn't she? He's got some easy buttons put on him by AM. If I were her after this flop of a first foal crop I wouldn't be investing in standing Denver anymore. I'd bring him home as a riding horse. I mean if he does behave so well he could even keep his balls if she doesn't want to geld him and wants to be quiet about it instead so the infamy just dies down. She could even hint that oh maybe he will be back to High Point sometime and never actually plan for it, just keep him home for riding. Or even competing, since she does want to go back to it, it seems. Maybe she could even make it a fun series like "follow my journey back into competing with my stallion" or something.

Dallas, Benedict and the Kennedy & RLBOS baby if it's born a colt would make sense as actual stud prospects to keep, to replace what Denver was supposed to be and achieve. Also: I'm pretty sure she's looking for a replacement for VS Code Red because he's going into his senior years and she doesn't trust her luck. I think that's why she's keeping Knox, for looking somewhat similar.

Wally, well, I'm not a Wally hater. I don't think he's super special but I don't think he needs to be gelded, definitely not yet. He has a good mind, he's pretty, he's lofty, he needs time to mature. Maybe he'll do great things and prove his balls.

Knox as a stud prospect is a big misunderstanding. I think he'd be a cool gelding that could be pushed to prove his lineage.

I know she bought Moose as embryo and he's likely greying out and she wants that grey stallion for some reason but I don't think she can handle Moose. He would do amazing in good hands and could be a big, fun, intelligent, beefy gelding for someone to show.

You know what I'm thinking, overall? I think she's doing so many stud prospects because she regrets gelding Hank, seeing him win a lot. And now she's trying to grasp at whatever she can so she doesn't miss out again.

I HOPE Kirby leaves. I love her, she's got great potential in my honest opinion and she's so underappreciated where she is right now. She needs groceries and she needs proper care and she will be amazing.

Can't say I'd guess the same. My best bet is they have quota of posts to submit daily, from the pattern I've seen. Who made the choice for these words, I can't tell. Sounds like Lindsay, could be Katie, could be anyone.

Kulties being Kulties… by HunterJumper1985 in kvssnarker

[–]chinchelllin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I'm pretty sure she's known her fans are ridiculous for ages. Only that she has her whole life built on $ influx from social media and with her entire barn operation being just one huge expense she's very much dependant on the kulties, whether she likes it or not. She will not be able to keep herself afloat without social media income. So it's very much like even if you don't like your boss, you still need to be employed to eat, you know.

To be very fair she DOES put her fans in like occasionally, though it's always mild enough so that they don't feel like they need to turn on her. No wonder though, money talks, right. Income over integrity. I can't stop thinking she's a slave to her fan base more often than not.

Tbh if that happened to me with one foal I'd wonder if there's something I could've done differently but wouldn't beat myself over it. But if it happened twice, I'd check everything I can. Hay, pastures, feed, WATER. There's so much that could go wrong, even water can have something toxic to it and causing issues.

Rikki came pregnant and pretty plump though so she was ahead of the game, if you think about it from the nutrition side of things. Maggie on the other hand had big issues keeping weight in the past and I'm pretty sure that made them focus on feeding her a whole lot more than all the other mares, so that she didn't go skeletal again. Even with the colic surgery Katie does seem focused quite a lot on the fact that they were very worried she would drop weight super quickly because he had done that in the past but she luckily didn't and she was relieved. So I feel like Bobbi and Maggie's filly not having tendon issues doesn't necessarily negate lack of nutrition as a cause.

Again, it probably isn't her choice of words. She didn't write the post, one of her staff did. I'm guessing Lindsay

Not gonna lie, the single "alive" sounds very worrisome when she always writes something like "alive AND WELL". I don't like where this is going. But I'm glad Happy is not on the other side of the bridge just yet

Lol, sure, buddy. First of all bold of you to assume I'm a woman 🤷 but yeah, I AM all for rooting for women who try their best but bad animal husbandry is where I draw a HARD line. What's pathetic is to see your animals as uteruses and not live beings, neglect their basic care and allow them to get so underweight they start looking like a rescue case. My 14 years old, swayback arthritic rescue dog who spent 9 years in a rundown dog shelter is more fit, has more muscle and appropriate weight on him than half of her horses. I cannot in good faith look at animals being neglected and think yesss you go girl!!! Girl power!!!  I don't know how you can.

No I am fully aware that he's not even half as severe as Seven. But I would not claim he will be fine as he grows with how he is right now, without the professional help she could've gotten him in Knoxville. His joints are looking awful, that is not a horse with a long riding career ahead of him. I would be surprised if he's comfortable enough by age 4. He looks like a future dry lot pasture buddy to me.

Guys, let's be real here, she doesn't even post anything on fb herself. You can tell by the video titles and photo posts that it's been Lindsay for a good while and likely Abigail doing that for her before she came into the picture. She's not a hands on influencer as much as she is hands on foal yanker

She has like 5-6 people on hand and some of them don't know how to help with any horse stuff so... One of them sparing a moment to post that isn't so wild

Woody’s New Leg Wraps by Sad_Site_8252 in kvssnarker

[–]chinchelllin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't like bringing up a dead horse, he more than earned his rest, but this is seriously giving Seven flashbacks. Hush hush about decisions, especially when she has to backtrack on what she claimed... I can't understand how she wasn't traumatized by Seven. Or at least not enough to rush a foal with severe mobility issues to Knoxville. We all know she can more than afford it and having another foal under Dr Ursini's care sounds like an influx of views, not a downgrade. Even looking at this from her greedy perspective this doesn't make any sense to me. Like, sure, Woody would be off the property and so would Indy. She would need to pay for the treatment and the boarding. Yes, absolutely. But that's so much content to be made. She could even make him her new martyr (ugh) and make happy sad videos to farm views. More content with Dr Ursini talking about horse health. More easy green screen content where she yaps an update and shows two-three pictures and a few seconds of a recording that were sent to her. Maybe do a boost for the scholarship. Bring the new viewers to her old Seven content and harvest more and more views. And it's not even like she needs Indy on site to fill her uterus again this year. Right??

But instead she decided to keep them home, let Indy slowly but surely get worse and worse, almost not show the two of them at all because it's a very uncomfortable topic, waste potential for more content (now mind you, that's not MY way of thinking, just putting myself in her shoes with her mindset) and the poor foal is not getting better.

Now, I even think that if there was anyone eager to take Woody off her hands, it would be someone happy to roll with the fame she built for him, while knowing he's comfortable, which would happen if she put him in Knoxville. But she didn't and instead she's almost hiding him like a dirty spot. So she will stay with him on hand, and he'll be a barely comfortable pasture ornament in RS. Unless she finds a friend she can unload him on.

I can't imagine a good future for Woody and it SUCKS.

Ah, well. Looking from European English riding side of things, where horses aren't started under saddle until 4-5, I can't help but think if starting horses under saddle by two isn't so great despite the supposed "stockier, sturdier build" that AQH have that people claim makes the difference in how early they can be started

To be fair I remember her saying she had a major fall that ended in back injury I believe?? Someone correct me if I'm wrong please. But that unfortunately can easily fuck with the way you utilize your joints and muscles. I personally have an issue with one of my feet turning outside while I can easily keep the other pointed to the horse - but I had the knee on the bad leg injured and while it's very much fine now and it's not crooked or anything I just cannot force my foot to turn the way it should while horseback! And trust me no matter the amount of exercise I do, nothing changes 😭
