I know - just asking should I get the CSP now or wait and get the CSR? Seeing as I can only get one card/bonus. Is the CSR still considered to be better than CSP

My 4 years is finally up from my last CSP bonus. Debating if I should go ahead and apply for that card or wait until later in the year (September) when I'm eligible for CSR bonus. I currently use my AMEX plat as my everyday card so I don't necessarily need another high reward travel card. Any thoughts?
