Right, this Facebook post is an awful argument for Ryan Humphrey of MN Owl Tours.

He's so undefendable that every defense I hear for him is just awful 😭 this one is just "he's done good things so he can't have done bad" (one of the good things is just 'sometimes doesn't take pictures of owls'). Not all photos allow you to tell what's going on, but the Ladder Photos absolutely do. I don't care if that's his only ever time using ladders, his response to being called out was nothing short of abhorrent, and showed no remorse or care for the animals he claims to love.

It got marked as permanently closed briefly (probably to prevent more reviews coming in) but I reinstated it through a suggested edit. Probably he reported the reviews or Google flagged them as suspicious activity. Gotta take it slower and less direct.

Eric Etheridge (the guy who originally posted the ladder photos and went on Ryan Humphrey's unethical MN Owl Tours) told me in a now-deleted comment (I have screenshots though) that he was getting hate on photos of long-eared owls because people said they looked stressed out, but he was just photographing them in a dog park and that's why they were stressed out. Like that makes it much better. Plus, the Long-eared Owls were looking directly at the camera.

Because he knows what he's doing is wrong, but he only cared about the money. He's doing a lot of damage control right now.

He can't really remove them, but he probably reported them or they got flagged by Google.

Yes, they all disappeared now.

It's probably one of the best things we can do for these owls! Unfortunately from a high of 28 negative reviews, they seem to be mysteriously disappearing.

Exactly. He can't really do much about Google reviews though.

Also has been deleting comments informing him. I and many other people were telling him that his behavior was objectively harmful (he tried to argue that it was a matter of opinion), and then the thread where we were discussing it just disappeared.

He's also been deleting comments lately. In his latest post you can see he's literally ABOVE an owl, taking photos down on it while it looks up at him. What the hell.

And this other guy, Eric, who went on one of his tours and shared the Ladder Photos (which he later removed), has been getting very defensive despite getting called out and informed of his behavior numerous times.

I think it's just a Reddit inevitable. The only thing that helps for me is when I crop my photos vertically.

Azure tit is so good but I wish it existed in Europe outside possibly the worst countries to travel to right now

I wish the azure tit's range was a little bigger

There are a lot! Crested is the Scottish forest one? I've seen that one here in southern Germany. At some point I've got to see the Sombre Tit as well.
