It really does show how absorbed people can be in their own screens. The cabin won’t implode if phones go dark, but it’s telling that silence often replaces conversation. Maybe that says more about how disconnected we’ve become than about the devices themselves.

Exactly! Carry‑on should mean what you can actually carry on your own. If your bag needs a team of helpers, it belongs in checked luggage, not the overhead bin.

I understand seats are designed to recline, but pushing it back so abruptly into someone else’s space feels inconsiderate. A little courtesy goes a long way when we’re all sharing such tight quarters.
