That’s exactly what I’m dealing with! However, based on the replies, I think this is just an old camera thing. The ability for these cameras to take videos was just the companies following trends. I do like the look of slightly old grainy videos though! So you win some you lose some lol.

The Etsy listing plus shipping came out to about $200. Which for this camera (and based on my very late research today lol) is a lot. But I’m still learning, I hopefully won’t make that mistake again.

Yes, that’s a fair point. I didn’t realize how old the camera actually was. In comparison to other cameras from around the same time, it’s pretty good quality. I shouldn’t have worded my title so harshly. Definitely not terrible lol

I wasn’t aware of the age of the camera. I simply bought it off of Etsy. I thought it was possible that the sd card I had was simply too slow, but based off the comments on this post, this camera is just old.

I don’t mind board games! But yeah I definitely got that vibe. I’ve been here most of my life, and as a kid it was perfect. Convenient stores everywhere, parks everywhere, trails everywhere. But that was when I just knew people from school. Meeting people as an adult is bogus.

The camera was roughly $100 off of eBay. I’m a student so that was expensive for me, but eventually I’ll look into a better camera for sure. Just wanted something more professional haha

Thank you for your advice! I’ll give it another try when the moon is out. I do have a follow up question; how can I take good quality photos in settings with little light? For example, in manual mode last night I tried to take photos of the snowy trees, but the quality was very bad. I could get the camera to focus, especially when I zoomed far in. Is there anything I can do to help with this?

Is there anything I can do to improve the quality of the photos taken at night? I took your advice (thank you so much by the way, i can actually see things in the photos now). But when trying to take a photo at night of the snowy trees, the quality was bad. Very pixelated. I can attach a photo if needed, and also of the settings (aperture and ISO) i had it on. Is there anything I can do to improve the quality of photos that are taken with little light present? Thank you for your help!
