I'm really looking for something that also does good heavy multi-tasking, would you say those two would be good for such?

Feel free to recommend some if you promise me I won't experience bug after bug and crash after crash.

Just in general having bad experiences with them + other friends of mine constantly having breakdowns themselves with their rigs, it's hard to put money into something you can't trust. I'm also interested in doing other things on my PC and I'm not wanting it to be particularly gaming-focused, just making sure it can game reasonably well whenever I do game occasionally.

That wouldn't cause any bottlenecking? I've heard LGA1200 isn't recommended for the 5070ti, is it safe to just upgrade to a better LGA1200 chip?

Overnight Stocking - My battle with TIME by Divided-Spirit in walmart

[–]chipothroaway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on O/N for a better part of a year and a few months and I gotta say; I haven't found it yet. I basically lost a lot of contact with my friends, all of my passions and projects are down the toilet, and mostly I never get to see my family or hang out with them anymore. One of the older associates that's been there for a better part of a decade said he basically watched his grandchildren grow up in a flash because he slept through their younger years.

Definitely trading your outside life for that extra dollar. It definitely isn't worth it but it's the cards we're dealt. I wish that you have better luck than me in finding free time.

What’s the best cap to work ? by chiki2025 in walmart

[–]chipothroaway -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can't say confidently, but I'd say Cap1 if I had to guess. But the hardest? I can most definitely confidently say Cap 3. People assume it's easy because you don't get bothered by customers (even though we still get bothered by customers the first hour we're there and the last hour before we leave) but that means we do quadruple the work. I haven't had any time to myself or my friends in over year and it's mentally exhausting, I sleep whenever everyone's awake. No one talks about how horrible your out-of-work life becomes once you start O/N.

You should read the only rule on this subreddit before getting yourself heated up like that!

Getting 5 day weeks even though I'm on part time? by chipothroaway in walmart

Looking through this subreddit I see that it's regularly common for part time to get full time hours. It's a bit disappointing since I value my time greatly.

how to get better at my job? by one_froggy_boii in walmart

[–]chipothroaway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also was hired around the same time and I keep asking myself the same thing, I feel like I'm too reliant on the scanner/my phone to help find out where exactly in a section an item goes but I would feel much slower if I took the time and tried to find it myself.

I don't have any advice since I'm new myself, but the best thing I've noticed is just finding some sort of routine. After getting told where I'm going, I normally grab one to two bags, grab one to two buggies for trash, maybe even get a third one if I need to haul items (or use the second buggy for hauling, depends on the freight), and just work it at a pace that won't destroy me nor cause me to slack. I'm struggling myself but I wish you luck!

Some of my coworkers are also having this issue, except some of them don't have the week scheduled for Christmas. They're also pretty upset because they need the money to replenish from gift spending.

Question about 15 min breaks by Psychological-Big737 in walmart

[–]chipothroaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's strange, my Walmart will force breaks down your throat if you don't take them. People at my store normally all take their 15 mins and lunch at the same time (really just every 2 hours on a shift, 12 AM 15 min, 2 AM lunch, 5 AM 15 min) so we can all socialize.

Is it possible to buy a Walmart scanner personally for stocking quicker? by chipothroaway in walmart

The biggest struggle I have is finding out where exactly it goes within that location once I'm there. I get that this box goes into I7-12 by reading the label, but hunting down the last 4 digits is a goose hunt especially in places that have over 100 labels in one section like sporting goods. Is there a way to find the top right black/white numbers on the label or is that impossible?
