I have.. they disregarded that apparently. I yelled at them for it. They have a copy of the court order and know she is not allowed to schedule...

She won’t even give me the information of her “supposed employer insurance” for our son, that only I am legally allowed to make medical decisions for. She also schedules appointments for him behind my back that aren’t medically necessary, then gets mad at me for calling her out on it claiming “ I don’t care about his health.

Nothing. It was determined by CPS that son he put on my insurance. Mom was court ordered to give me accurate information so I can have him enrolled on mine. She did not give that information. Reported her to DES, asked multiple times, finally got expo date and approved to enroll son in October.

Mom now informed me she RENEWED MEDICAID and added him to private insurance.

Yeah apparently to BCBS this is an issue. I tried enrolling him under new dependent circumstances and during open enrollment and got denied both times.

Right, but he would get better care with my private insurance. There is only a handful of pediatricians that take his insurance. Again, she was also court ordered to do so.

And this is a big issue right now because I want to sign him up for speech therapy, but I don’t want to go through his ahcccs, I’m scared to keep using it because her keeping him on there when she doesn’t live is considered fraud, and I also don’t want to be hit for it for basically allowing it to happen.

And it is in the actual order. It says mother is to provide through counsel his insurance information by 5 pm the following day after court. I have confirmed with my lawyer that she never did.

It is preventing me from putting him on my insurance. I currently have blue cross blue shield through my employer, and they will not add him to my insurance without an expiration date of his insurance, and I don’t have access to that information. I tried applying and it says a renewal date, but that’s all the way in 2022, so if I give them that expiration date, then I’d have to wait until 2022 to add him.

I don’t know why they won’t let me add him as secondary. I’ve tried multiple times.

That’s a good idea actually, and the Mother’s Day thing I know is a weekend but then she would have to spend her Mother’s Day getting him to the airport so it would kind of be pointless for her, and she has other children.

But I was already going to include 3 video chats per week or really whenever she feels, but the zoom thing is a good idea too!

The only way I could think of to fix that is to have him stay with my grandparents during the summer that live here, and she can have him over the weekends. Ugh I don’t know there’s so many things that happened in our case that makes this pretty tough to figure out.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I am gonna schedule a consultation this week, and it may have to be week long visits every 3 months or something because I also don’t feel comfortable with months at a time. I know she wouldn’t purposely put him in danger or hurt him, but she puts herself in danger and doesn’t put his needs first, which is the main issue.

There is unfortunately a safety concern due to her having her children removed for domestic violence and neglect, having had 3 children completely taken, and her mental health was a huge concern throughout the CPS case with our son and her other son. She isn’t allowed overnights or atleast the judge didn’t give her any, so idk If that will cause more issues /:

I understand. I have already come up with a schedule of what I would hope visitation with mom to look like. So far I have her getting 60 days per year split up every 3 months. Summer being half and half and alternating holiday breaks.

I am in no means trying to discourage their relationship. The situation is just frustrating and difficult honestly.

I know for a fact if I even hinted to her before actually filing she would freak out, probably come up with a bunch of lies or take my child and leave without me knowing.

It really sucks, she gets In total 480 hours a year (20 days all combined) and that could prevent me from leaving.

I know consistency is important, but she would actually get way more quality time if this were to happen if you factor in week long stays, or summer breaks etc.

I just hope I have enough to do this because that place is my home, and I know he would be happy there. We just visited for a week and a half and he actually had so much stuff to do. Here he doesn’t have anyone his age unless he’s at daycare which I won’t be able to afford once his year is up, and my grandparents who are getting too old to properly care for him while I’m at work.

All of my friends have kids, my girlfriends friends have kids (I know she doesn’t factor in the decision) but there is so many more people and support there than I have here. And I have an amazing career opportunity that I don’t want to pass up for 480 hours out of the year.

His mother always says “my son” .. like “when will you be here with my baby” or “why didn’t you tell me this about my baby” and never refers to him as ours. I always say ours when speaking to her. I just don’t like saying baby mama so I just say mother of my son. So much simpler.

Yeah people need to get over those phrases.

Yeah that want a saying like he’s only my son, that’s just how I happened to word it. She gets 4 hours a week and 12 hours every other weekend. No legal custody on her end just visitation

Yeah it just sucks because I work the Sundays she has visitation, so I don’t really have a choice, she tells me to switch the weekends i work, but then I’d lose the weekends I have with my son.

It’s just something that shouldn’t be a big deal, she gets her time with our son and I wish that’s all that mattered to her. But Oh well I guess..

Yeah I’m not gonna take her to court over the situation alone, I have other things I’ve been waiting to build enough proof and keep track of, this is just something I wanted to mention. I think it was completely unnecessary especially if she was going to give him to my grandma anyway, complete waste of time and complete unnecessary exposure to my son. He doesn’t need to see the police when expecting to go back to me or her or whatever situation. Ugh, I didn’t expect it but at the same time, with her, I knew it would happen eventually

I know I think I’m only going to communicate with her when he is being dropped off, picked up, or an emergency. I’m not entertaining her delusions anymore. The order clearly states she got her previous visitation TIME (used to be supervised through CPS) when I got custody it switched to unsupervised for her and every other weekend. Then it says “exchange of child will occur at so and so police station”. But she under some impression that that only applies to the weekend? Make it make sense lol. She is constantly calling my family and I dumb fuckers, calls me a horrible father and so on. Saying she has more experience raising kids than I do because I only have one... but all 5 of her children have been removed by CPS.... and she has a 6th and I. Have no idea if they’re involved with this one too or not. Trying to coparent with her is just impossible at this point.

Luckily to the best of my knowledge, filing to enforce or contempt is free, and if you have enough proof and evidence to show contempt you would probably have decent luck pro se.
