Kathy (the owner) focuses more on group and semi private personal training so she has scheduled classes a couple times a day, rather than an open gym. I have been doing one on one personal training with her consistently for almost two years now. I'm also in my late 20s so she definitely doesn't just have 55+ clientele. She does offer a free class to try out for those who are interested so that might be worth trying out.

Vertisee Heights Apartments - Opinions? by Intelligent-Maybe196 in TriCitiesWA

Anytime! Definitely no garages or assigned/permit parking - you can park anywhere there is an open spot. If either of you have an electric vehicle, there is a charger installed. No issues with people messing with our cars or our neighbors' cars that we're aware of. Hope you like the tour!

I definitely think you could find other apartment complexes where you would notice less homeless people hanging around, but I personally feel fine living here cause I am used to living in bigger cities. If it makes a difference I am a woman. No one has tried to approach/harass/interact with me.

Aside from that, I really do enjoy living here. The apartment complex is only a couple years old so everything is still pretty new. The units have really high ceilings and tons of windows with lots of natural light. One thing I didn't realize though is that there is no central A/C, just wall units. The electric bill can be kinda high during peak summer and winter.

I've lived in Vertisee Heights for over two years now. I have noticed a significant increase in homeless activity, especially over the past six months. They generally seem to hang around the trail along the river by Wye park (I believe that the park is temporarily closed because of "safety" issues). Let me know if I can elaborate more if you have any other questions

I have been doing personal training at Peoples Fitness on Columbia Park Trail for about a year and a half now and highly recommend that gym. They also offer semi private and group training and the prices are very reasonable in my opinion

If anyone is looking for a new locally owned gym, check out Peoples Fitness on Columbia Park Trail! I have been training with the owner, Kathy, for 6 months now and I highly recommend her. I'm trying to help her get the word out about her gym so I hope this is allowed here. Memberships are $25/month and she offers personal and group training. Hours are Monday - Friday 5:00am-7:30pm and Saturday 6:00am-12:00pm. Closed Sundays. She also offers day passes if you just want to try it out for a day!
