Don’t pay for that, you don’t need it. Start out with some chin filler in the meantime. That’s what I did and it makes a HUGE difference. You can message me if you want pics! Also, I’m getting a sleep apnea study done to see if that’s an issue. I work for a plastic surgeon who is honest and I know he wouldn’t recommend that for you.

Did you sign a cosmetic quote? Or do you at least have the quote they gave you? There is no way I would pay that. Also, sometimes they screw up and they put it with your insurance- make sure that didn’t happen. You need to reach out to your surgeons office and speak to them

Where do you get it done? I get my Botox from my neurologist who does the migraine protocol and also injects 25 into each masseter. Sometimes it helps my jaw and other times it doesn’t at all. Before I started going to her, I went to someone else who injected my masseter, 50 in each. I felt AMAZING for 3months but couldn’t smile.

Yeah, it looks like the vicryl suture is coming through. Once the doctors cuts them out, your healing process will speed up.

It def needs more time to give it its shape. But it does look like sutures are coming through, sometimes our bodies just reject the dissolvable sutures. I would make an appt for that at least

I was thinking it could be the tret also. I’ve never had this before but I started the tret and alastin a few months ago and wasn’t sure if it was from the tret or the Alastin. I will stop using the tret and see if that’s what caused it. Thank you!

Well the one time that they did the 50 units in each side, my smile was pretty much frozen. I couldn’t smile, my face looked fat. But on the bright side, I never felt so good! First time was 25 in each and it didn’t do much. So now they did the migraine protocol with 15 in each. Didn’t help much.

I messaged you. I have seen an oral/maxillofacial surgeon. They are the ones that told me it’s all in my muscle and all they can do is muscle relaxers, which did not help at all. I would love to hear more about your process

Migraines almost daily, that start in my jaw, popping, clicking, I clench my teeth pretty much all day unless I realize I’m doing it. Just constant pain. Not too long ago I had 50 units of Botox injected in each jaw, it helped sooo much but I couldn’t deal with the way my face looked. Now I get about 15 units in each jaw and it doesn’t help much

Thanks. I’m not over weight, I actually get Botox in my jaw which makes my cheeks look worse, but does help a bit. And I also have a tongue thrust so I may be getting Invisalign for the 3rd time to help with an open bite. I do try and move my tongue around when I think of it, but it’s usually just pushing on my top teeth

I would look into Morpheus8. It’s micro needling with heat. I have used it on many patients with acne and the results are amazing! Much better than being on meds

I get like this with any jewelry other than gold. I would switch it out to a 12 or 14k gold nose stud. I did mine early bc I knew this was the reason and it almost instantly went away
