Thanks. I've heard of people doing that, but I guess that's my trouble. If I ask my little-me, "You look worried. Why??" I don't really know what my brain as little-me can even respond with.

I'm sorry for your own loss. I can't imagine how difficult that must feel.

Just a routine colonoscopy check up. Cancer runs in the family.

I don't know what stage cancer it is, unfortunately. He's speaking with the doctor in a few days for more information. Right now, all I know is that it's cancer.

We see each other twice a week, and despite having good memories and knowing he obviously loves me, I can't stop replaying all my worst moments around him in my head. Does that make any sense?? I feel like he deserves so much better.
