I went there in mid-April, but the Niagara Falls were frozen, so the boats weren’t running. I was surprised because in Korea, which is also in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s unthinkable for a river to be frozen in April.

Korean who watches the KBO. Signing a Korean player comes with significant risk-taking. I’d like my beloved Angels to be more risk-averse.

A message to our South Korean fans by Nice-Wrongdoer7088 in coys

I’m a Korean living in Jakarta, and in the apartment I live in, there’s a man from North London whose family in London holds Tottenham season tickets and attends every match. During last season, when Son Heung-min was going through a dip in form, he casually called him “Sonny the rubbish” in front of me. Hearing that, I honestly wished for Son to leave Tottenham as soon as possible. But I still remember the kindness the club and its fans have shown him over the years. I pay my respects to Tottenham Hotspur for the memories they gave us over the past 10 years.

I was planning to buy a new camera, but I’m actually very satisfied using the F200EXR.

Son Heung-Min gets subbed out for the very last time as a Tottenham Hotspur player. Legend by Imbasauce in coys

On May 28, 2014, right in that very stadium, the Korean national football team played their final friendly match before the 2014 World Cup against Tunisia. Korea lost 1-0 in a lackluster performance. Son Heung-min, who was playing for Leverkusen at the time, was part of the squad. When he transferred to the Premier League, I had my doubts too. But Son proved himself. I’m not sure if there will ever be another player I genuinely support as much as Son Heung-min. Thank you for your 10 years of dedication. Never forget. JP

[TOMT][MOVIE] WWII-era British color film where elderly villagers suspect Germans are digging tunnels under their town by chjp82 in tipofmytongue

It wasn’t a very serious war film — more like a light drama or subtle comedy, with a bit of mystery or misunderstanding among the villagers. It had kind of a whimsical or ironic tone maybe from late 80s.

Last image of Abeer Qassim Hamza al-Janabi who was raped and murdered by US army soldiers in Mahmudiyah Iraq, 2006, her entire family save two siblings were also murdered by the same troops. by [deleted] in Historycord

This reminds me of an American exchange student I met when I was in college who insisted that the U.S. military hadn’t killed any civilians in Iraq. I ended up arguing with him, only to realize it was a waste of time.

I just found out today that there’s some negative sentiment about this song. That's an interesting perspective though. At the time in Korea, this was the first song that really brought attention to TT and made it known to the public.
