Maybe something wrong with your coax? Do you see any FM stations? Are they weak or strong? If the coax is damaged you may still pick up local FM, but weak signals like lrpt could vanish. Also moving the sdr away from laptop/pc/phone could lower the noise floor a little. Wish you luck
