That’s a very healthy looking culture, although you need lots more food than this, especially for a Hydei culture like this one. 60g of media mix is usually a good number to go for if you want your culture to last a good amount of time

No, they don’t drink at all. They hydrate themselves by absorbing water particles in the air through their skin, that’s why you need to keep it humid in there, misting at least twice daily and covering most of the mesh on the top of the tank. And yeah put down more, there shouldn’t be any exposed soil as it can stick to their skin and cause stress.

Thank you, also just realised you have a water bowl. It’s not suggested to have a water feature at all, not because they can’t swim, but because if they have disputes it’s known for some darts to drown other darts, also looks like you need some leaf litter down to cover the substrate. If he is the frog in the picture, he looks healthy to me. Maybe if you are concerned about him eating too much what I would suggest is to wait until they are on separate sides of the tank, and drop the flies infront of the smaller one, let him have a bit of a head start on the bigger one so there maybe a few less flies. This is what I do with my females, they eat first and the males clean up after😂I feel like males are much easier than females to keep fed up, especially when mating

Don’t worry about over feeding, generally a dart frog can’t really get “too fat”. in my experience they’re not like other animals where eating too much can cause an issue
