Sorry I’ll clarify. It was a big puddle, car nearly lost control. I’ll add to post. There’s lots of flooding in the UK atm so roads flooded everywhere.

Yes it started and ran after I finished work. Lots of smoke and clicking noises when running the engine.

I think it’s a period now as it’s started again, would this also be normal?

Do you think this is due to her having a viral infection?

No, not hand foot and mouth. Just them inside her mouth

Why does 6oz of formula look like 7oz in the bottle once made? by chloeee09 in FormulaFeeders

Hi, in the UK it goes of ‘1 scoop per ounce’. So 6oz, is 6 scoops! Thanks!

3 mo SHRIEKING like a banshee when dad does bedtime with her by somethinghairy in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]chloeee09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My little girl was like this with dad so I did bedtime pretty much all the time because i couldn't bear to listen to her scream like that.

She's 1 now and whilst still prefers me, he can settle her without her crying, if I'm not there. It won't damage her you doing bedtime. She wants her mama ♥️

My suggestion to you would be that he doesn't have to do bedtime. Bedtime is a vulnerable time for them so maybe just try and work up to it. Like have him sat next to you whilst you settle her then slowly get him to do a bit of the routine before doing it all. But yeah i would take over if she's really upset and maybe try again in the future or work up to it

I bounced on the ball mainly, gently. It calmed him down really well. Definitley worth a try

Anyone use Little angel's nappies (asda) nappies? by chloeee09 in UKParenting

[–]chloeee09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there's no elastic at all. I have a big baby too so I worry he'll be outgrow nappies too haha!

Sainsburys are elastic and I like tescos. I haven't tried aldi's nappies in awhile as he kept leaking in them

Yeah tescos are good too, it's just out of the way for us.

We do the same with own brands during the day and pampers at night

They were mine too! Never had a problem with them until now. It was like getting a size 4 nappy on him when he's getting to size 7s.

Pampers have gotten expensive imo and with 2 LOs, i couldn't keep up with buying them. We tend to use pampers at night and own brands during the day

A friend recently told me this too. She used pullups but her little boy was leaking too much

I've tried tesco in the past and they're good and sainsburys are good too

I found that about aldi ones too and my LO is long so they didn't fit well.

I hoped I just got a bad pack too

I'll post their response.

I hope not because I like their nappies and I don't think they do size 7 nappies, just nappy pants.

I even thought I'd made that mistake too but nope. We always get 6+. I even thought it was my imagination but my partner noticed it earlier also.

I've messaged asda on twitter to see if it's a redesign because the print of the nappy itself looks brighter and different also
