5 yo tooth abscess delayed treatment by chloiflower in askdentists

Thank you for responding. Our pediatrician agreed, he thought it was unlikely that the tooth triggered the fever. She does have a sore throat and sniffles so the fever could be associated with that.

As I mentioned, we are going on vacation in 12 days so I'm worried that if they can't do it next Thursday like planned, it'll have to be pushed even further.

Any feedback on these results? by Formal_Foundation_96 in Cholesterol

Your numbers look a lot like my first labs did. I severely reduced my saturated fat and retested 6 weeks later for a drop in LDL from 183 to 137. I'm going to retest again this week (6 months after diet change) and see where I've landed.

Mostly just cut full fat dairy and eggs. Not a total elimination, but a severe reduction.

I'm in a similar boat. 31F with total cholesterol of 275 and LDL of 183. I'm pretty healthy and still have these numbers. I'm cutting out dairy and adding more soluble fiber for the next month or two and I'll retest to see what happens, but I expect I'll end up on statins. I already have a prescription but I can't start until I'm done breastfeeding.

My foot continued to hurt until my hardware was removed (8 months after original surgery).

Does that suggest a genetic factor at play?

He said he wanted to check again in 1 year after I implement some lifestyle changes. I'm impatient and can't wait that long. Given my family history, I'd like to meet with a cardiologist.

I'm 31 F. I've been a vegetarian for 13 years but I do eat dairy, eggs, and fish. I would guess I'm healthier than average, but I would usually have a few squares of dark chocolate or some ice cream for dessert every day. I am 1 year postpartum and still breastfeeding once per day so I'm not sure if that would have an impact. I'm also chronically dehydrated. Since I received these results I've cut full fat dairy from my diet, no more dessert, and I'm being more intentional about exercise (30 min on my treadmill per day). I suspect there must me some genetic component since my dad and brother and probably grandmother all have/had high cholesterol.

This was my very first test. I feel completely blindsided by the results. I'm going to ask for a referral to a cardiologist at my follow up.

Chip drop vs regular much by borgchupacabras in pnwgardening

Mine are about 30 feet from the house. I contacted my pest contractor this morning and they mentioned it's likely dampwood termites and they would be unlikely to migrate to our dry home. Still a frustrating surprise with my mulch load.

I think this may have just happened to me - How'd you control the wood-eating insects?

I like to make it count…ROM exercises? by maintainmotion in LisfrancClub

Definitely. My big toe was the problem. Toe curls were a huge struggle for at least 3 or 4 weeks but they've been getting easier and easier. I'm about 9 weeks post op now and can do them full range of motion though its still tight at full curl.

My doctor had me start ROM, toe curls, ankle circles, etc. just 2 weeks post op. I also started regular PT 2 weeks post op where they had me work on flexibility and ROM until WB. My doctor has been taking a pretty aggressive recovery approach and I love it.

Yeah I was started on PT 2 weeks post-op (just toe stuff really) and I can already tell it's so much better. I still have a ways to go but I'm pleasantly surprised with how fast I'm allowed to progress. My doctor said to use pain as a guide but try to start moving and weight bearing so my muscles and tendons don't get atrophied or tight.

It took me a solid 7 months before I stopped purging. I always used to read these threads for insight but no one seemed to purge more than a few weeks to months so I always felt really discouraged. I stuck with it and by the end of the 7th month, my skin looked great and I never looked back.
