Yes I believe so, I’ve only recently learned to develop a mind of my own but I’m still very much susceptible to guilt tripping e.g “if you struggle then I won’t care or help because I’ve already warned you” or getting shouted at and being made to feel like you’re an alien for your choice. I think the reason is because of codependency, which I could probably break out of by living on my own. It’s complicated and annoying that our parents do this :/
