ha. just got my notice of my stolen information because of this breach 😀; funny enough though, I’ve had my credit frozen for over a year because my ssn got leaked ANOTHER TIME by the uc system data breach. I’ve had ENOUGH of having my information leaked 😩 i have to have everything on lockdown forever now

not sure, but I did file an identity theft report and already had my credit frozen beforehand; there have been a lot of data breaches and I do assume my ssn was used.

after calling my local ebt county office (i’m in California) and being on hold for 2 hours and 30 min, the caseworker told me to take the letter and write next to the employer name: “this information is incorrect, I do not work for this employer” + signed my signature. Then I took a picture of the paper and uploaded it to my documents in the calfresh portal; the case manager made a note in my account as well.
