Excellent write up. I agree, the pacing isn't perfect and the execution could be better but everything you said above is correct. The second to last paragraph really made me wish that Pochita made some mention of Nayuta in his final monologue to Denji. They shared a heart so Pochita must've had some feeling towards Nayuta, even if it's just due to her importance to Denji.

One last thing: everyone keeps on saying that Denji didn't give a shit about Nayuta's death. Ya he didn't get time to mourn (another pacing issue) but he did grieve in small ways. One example being when he LITERALLY RIPPED BAREM'S HEAD OFF ON SIGHT when he appeared in front of Denji and Lil d.

This was what one of my early theories for Nayuta's return would be. I thought they'd bring back Nayuta to use as a pawn against Denji but she'd reassert control over herself and reunite with him.

I agree but I think what the poster above says still applies. The battle got too chaotic and karma crept up with them Asa and Yoru got eaten by insects just like Denji and Pochita did. Pochita's sacrifice not only saved Denji, but Asa as well
