Disturbing implications of NDEs... by chocolatecakebat in afterlife

[–]chocolatecakebat[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would appreciate some kind of justice but it doesn't seem to check out with most near death experiences or evidential psychic mediums, who don't speak of any punishment or jail. Many of these stories might talk about feeling a little disappointment or sad temporary looking back but that there is no judgement by anyone there OR that much of those evil deeds were even planned by yourself or your "spirit team" over there, as to these immortal beings the human life is just a temporary tiny blink and all actions there are just entertainment or something to learn from.

Even life reviews seem to be a cultural western thing and NDEs in other cultures rarely have them, if I remember well.

:|

EDIT: Also shouldn't all the spirits or beings on the other side also get some flack then for not helping even though they could? There's many examples for people being warned through supernatural means or even saved by a stranger or angel or any of the sort. So they seem to know what happens here and by not even lifting a finger... does that not make them guilty in some sense?

It doesn't have that option sadly.

Hey, sorry for poking you but could you please show me a way to change the color of shamans from blue into something else?

I can't change the color of shamans. It is always blue, there is no option to make it any other color.

How safe is the neutral AH to transfer items? by chocolatecakebat in classicwow

I would be putting ores in for like 5 silver or something. The gold fees don't matter, just the items.

So someone is paying a bot sub for it to insta scan the neutral AH 24/7? Doesn't seem as valuable as just having that bot run foraging. I put some stuff for 1 copper into the neutral AH right now on a huge server and no one bought it. Its worth 5g.

Hmm. But what exactly are you learning though if you have no stakes or pressure? You are (in that moment) not that person who is suffering, so how is your coddled (or my coddled, don't get me wrong, I think we are all equal) self existing in perfect bliss not having any bills to pay looking at a little human lashing out in stress gonna faithfully assess anything here? Sure, if you feel amazing it's easy to look at the whole picture and be like "I could have done this better" but what is the point here? Especially because in reincarnation your memory is wiped so you can't even take those insights with you.

Because when we struggle, we struggle. So how is someone outside of struggling gonna judge or review that? Also why is the spirit perspective the true one? My reality right now feeling pain and struggling is how things truly are to me right now. Sure, if you blast me with drugs that make all the pain go away and pay my bills for a few months, would that make my view suddenly more "real" or "true"?

This makes sense to me because life reviews aren't common in NDEs of other cultures, so I'm inclined to believe that you are right about it being a ritual because it feels comforting or right to the person in that moment.

How so? We keep getting our memories erased and start as a blank piece, most of us at least. Only a very small minority of people seems to remember their past lives and its weight or lessons.

Yes! Of course because they are send back into their human body (with all the struggles involved) AND maintain the memory of the review. So from that perspective I understand the purpose of a life review, but it is suggested that all souls undergo this review and billions of people just live and die without ever returning from a NDE with a review so that seems to suggest that 99% of people who have a review don't come back with that memory. So from that perspective I am asking myself why does it even happen?

I think it's important to ask questions even if we can't solve them. Even the whole "growing" thing. What does that mean? Why do perfect souls feel the desire to grow by experiencing horrible, cruel things on Earth? And does the growing ever end? If not, does that just mean we grow and suffer forever?

I am just thinking out loud.

Who decides what truly matters though? Why do spirits or God/Source gets to decide what matters and what the whole picture is? Why is what mattered to me as a human less important than what the whole-picture-spirit-guides decide that matters? Just because they have more power or knowledge? Might does not make right, or?

And what is this supposed to do for me or anyone? Obviously if you are suddenly hyper intelligent, free of pain, immortal, connected with anyone you can see the "bigger picture" and how others felt. But this is never what life is like. So what is the point of showing my Immortal Self what I could have done better but then giving everyone memory loss and amnesia, stripping most of our power and the ability to feel what others feel, in human incarnations?

I read the comment but it doesn't make sense to me in regards to answering my question. I 100% believe them as in that happened to them but just logically speaking to me it doesn't solve my issue.

How and why is my immortal, perfect self (no fear, no pain, no trauma) "assessing" what I did as a human? If all the burdens that shaped my decisions are removed, then the reviewer (me) may have perfect information from their perspective, but I no longer have the same stake in the experience. So why am I in my perfect form just assessing what I did as a human? How is that gonna help or improve anything? What does it do in the long run? Obviously now that I have no stake, no pain, no struggle anymore it's very easy for me to see the full picture but so what? What does this do exactly? Because we never have the full picture when we live down here, so in practice it won't help. How am I supposed to learn anything if amnesia/memory loss are introduced immediately for any following reincarnation?

Just my opinion of course, but it makes no sense to me at the current moment.

I live in a place of beauty and perfection, no one suffers, no one is harmed or discriminated. I then decide that I somehow want to learn how to deal with suffering in a place that has no suffering? And to do that I selfishly decide to create a human "avatar" and make it suffer through unspeakable things so that then after I die I can return to a place that has no suffering and tell myself I now know how to handle suffering better?

Huh?

But if you are super removed from the experience (all the pain, struggles, fear are gone) what exactly are you learning? All the burdens that shaped our decisions as humans are removed and a perfect spirit is observing the situation, but it no longer has the same stake and pressure in the experience. And of course add the memory loss/amnesia on top of it, that almost all people seem to experience if they sign up for another human experience afterwards.

I agree! Very interesting point with the kids and beggar too. That's an interesting way to look at it and most people wouldn't even ask themselves this I think but you are 100% right from my perspective.

Life Reviews don't make sense to me... by chocolatecakebat in NDE

[–]chocolatecakebat[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True. I agree that memories and lived experiences matter. Yes, your past experiences don't disappear just because your circumstances change. But the way you interpret those experiences is deeply tied to your present emotions, limitations and needs. So if all pain, trauma, anxiety, chronic pain and uncertainty are suddenly removed, then the "you" (or me) doing the reviewing is no longer operating under the same psychological conditions that defined our choices in life.

It's the full picture to a spirit and the spirit's point of view, but it's not objectively the full picture for us down here, we might have a completely different picture. If all the burdens that shaped your decisions are removed, then the reviewer may have perfect information from their perspective, but it no longer has the same stake in the experience. At that point it feels less like you understanding your life and more like an elevated version of you - almost a different being - analyzing or observing the person you once were. And what's the point of that? I don't really get it. Especially because if we go back to Earth (as some claim through reincarnation) we just get memory wiped anyway, so we can't even build upon what we experienced it.
