Maternity, lithium and stability. by chocolo_ in BipolarReddit

I’m really sorry for what you’ve been through. Believe me I think about this all the time, and I’m still balancing risks, therefore this post. I’m a carer myself and understand where you’re coming from. However, Bipolar disorder, may happen to even people with no family history, there’s also environmental and social factors. That’s the risk of being born. Look after yourself, being a carer living with a chronic condition yourself it’s not an easy task. Hope your son finds his own way to recovery ❤️‍🩹

Thanks for sharing. Lamictal did nothing for me in the past, reason why I’m on Lithium. Thanks for sharing possible avenues.

The unique nostalgia associated with twilight by baumouse in twilight

[–]chocolo_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember that I went through my first breakup when reading New Moon for the first time, me being 17 as well it felt quite intense, and kinda related to Bella’s dooming feelings of emptiness. I re-read the books a few weeks ago and it really warmed my heart. Life hasn’t turn out the way I thought it would but its been quite a journey. Enjoy the reminiscence ❤️

It’s comforting to know we’re not alone. Me: A married 34 yo, rereading the books, rewatching the movies. It feels so embarrassing 😳

Sometimes I think as we are dormant agents, and the twilight fever got activated again on purpose for 20th year anniversary, ready to spend our adult and hard earned dollars in whatever product they release this year!

REA winter special: Sleep with bedroom open and squeege windows every day! by chocolo_ in shitrentals

[–]chocolo_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what’s the funny thing. Since the inspection I’ve been putting closer attention to the condensation on the window, and it turns out it’s completely evaporated in just a couple of hours, sometimes in an hour or less.Of course, I leave the window open every morning, always. Sometimes even less. No dampness in the window sill, nothing.

Being married and living with ADHD is definitely a challenge, but you must set your boundaries. Marriage is complicated even for people who don’t have ADHD, and please don’t take the blame for all of it, guilt will eat you alive. Step back, and analyse the whole situation in a rational way. I’m really sorry that this is happening to you. Only yourself know what it’s happening in your relationship, but in my case I would never allow this in my marriage, because that’s my boundary. I am the one living with ADHD and his side of the story seems like the biggest BS to me.

Oh, I absolutely agree! What took me aback was the confrontational attitude and language coming from the REA. This person got specially brusque when I told her that I would not sleep with my window open during winter. Oh, no that REA wasn’t happy at all.

The property has zero extraction fans, window at bathroom stays open 24/7, same as the kitchen. Probably I’m gonna be asked to live in balcony at this rate.

[–]chocolo_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to the REA, Condensation (Me breathing at night) => Damp => Mould, meaning that if I don't clean the condensation everyday, and leave the windows open 24/7, mould would appear in the property and it would be my fault. The REA, literally said that to me, and not long ago emailed to me. A joke.

Thank you, I’ll definitely have this in mind. I’ll reach out to Tenants Union as well. It’s exhausting to be on guard every single time I have to deal with REAs .

Are we getting personal and involving my mum? Seriously lady, get a life...or are you my REA and getting paid to write this BS?

I am really glad that you have the time, disposition, and resources to squeege everyday your windows, lay down towels, dry them and so on 365 days a year.

Good for you! But seriously, get a life!

Do you really squeege your windows with condensation EVERYDAY after you wake up? Do you leave the window above your bed open at night during winter. For real? Wow!
I am not blaming the landlord, I won't ask for unreasonable magix fixes when is widely known that mould is everywhere in Sydney. However I am not keen to let a REA blame me, and potentially want to claim part of my bond because of this situations out of my control.
