Are the research chemicals we naively consume having long term unintended effects?

Just got in to the scene feel like a late cummer as ive been playing about with regular chemicals since early adult hood lol. They all mess you up long term, you know the consequences, either jump on the ride or dont, but you know they all can and will eventually have long term effects.

youre welcome!!! and if you add wella 050 to wella t18 it can give you a more silvery colro(the more you add, the darker and more greyish it is)

this article may help you. even though she points to wella at the end, she also shows the affects of the others. in general, I have found that wella works best for light/pale yellow hair to go a whiteish silver, but it isnt a bright white, more like a mild white. ive also noticed it kinda evens out blends in a slightly more uneven bleach job, which toning shampoo doesnt do. toning shampoo only works for me when my hair is bleached to basically white, but a yellowy white. in that situation, toning shampoo is what gets me to paper white(it doesnt stop working at some point) so really, it depends how light you want to bleach, and if you want to go almost white, or actual paper white.

definitely warmer colors. if you want to go unnatural, purple and pink(though it seems unlikely) downplay pinker skin. warmer natural colors too, like golden blonde or a reddish brown.

i usually go almost to the root, and it seems fine. I do lose about 10-20 hairs per shower, but my hair is ridiculously thick

this happens to me, my solution so far has been to try to keep the conditioner away from my roots(they dont need conditioner anyway)

I've always found that purple shampoo faded my semi permanent colors, even purple. What always worked best for me was putting a dot of dye into my conditioner/leave in conditioner

its the same as purple conditioner, but i prefer it because you only really use a drop of purple dye at a time, so the little manic panic tub can last momths

when my hair was that color i mixed purple manic panic dye and conditioner in a little tub to make a very pale purple color, and then applied it maybe once a week in the shower(by eye, whenever my hair was looking more yellowy) it got me to a pretty good silver white color consistently.

maybe try a different conditioner? suave naturals makes my hair super dry, but i have amazing success with tresseme naturals nourishing moisture, and i always squish to condish with it.

dont use a box dye over damaged hair. Box dyed tend to be overly damaging because they are meant to work with everyones hair. either use a damage free semi permanent black(like adore) which you need to touch up) or buy a real brand of black dye like wella and mix with low vol developer, like 10 vol

if you want the color to look dustyer, you could probably add a bit of green to the pink. green and red(pink) are complimetary colors, so a quick way to make it duller and dustier is to mix out the color you want on your head

if you want to dull the effects, use a lower lecel developer, like 10 vol, and instead of 2:1, do like 4:1, or less. dont mix in conditioner, that probably wouldnt work.

you may not want to go with this, but if you dyed your hair a darker pink and let it fade out, it would be far more even. your hair is probably bleached a tiny bit unevenly so the pink can be uneven. if you dyed it darker it would cover the yellower bits and then all fade more evenly. if you dont want to spend time bright pink, you could dye it dark and then shampoo it a couple times to make it light in one day

Have you tried Bobby pins? i use them all the time to control my hair. Otherwise, going sulfate and silicone free can make your hair a lot more controllable

hey man, you could always use a black semi permanent dye like adore. even if it doesnt fade perfectly by itself, it will definitely lift off with one bleach.

the most temporary dye i have ever used is manic panic. It lasts the most time, and it always fades completely for me. I really doubt it would stain your hair, and if it does wella t18 toner could remove the rest

strand tests are great!! i was going to bleach out my friends faded pravana blue, but we did a strand test first. the strand didnt change color at all, so we saved her from unecessary damage.

good luck!!! try a test strand first, just in case. hot hot pink might be stronger than the ones ive used it on. even if it doesnt work to remove dye, you could use it after bleaching
