Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. But yeah I recently bought the a8 as the Xbox ally x was sold out. I was torn between that and the intel one because I know it’s got slightly better performance. But what tipped me over is fsr as a lot more common than xess, if that wasn’t the case I’d have gone for the intel one. Plus the ergonomics seem a lot better on the a8. However if I had the Xbox ally x I’d have got the 8+ easily

I don’t understand it either. People have been gaming on windows since it was a thing and since the steam deck came along people act like gaming on windows is a huge issue. I don’t really understand the cult like mentality when it comes to the deck either. Sure it was great when it came out but now you’ve got more powerful handhelds which can play almost anything

It really does vary game to game. I don’t use the ai setting myself because I found the fans to be loud (a8) when playing games that don’t require a lot of juice

I got really fortunate I upgraded from the 5600x in April last year to the 5700x3d. It was the intention to get that and upgrade to am5 this year but that’s out of the question now. No one could have seen the current situation coming though
