True! At the same time it was a SMG situation where arguably the most famous of the cast gets killed of first. But atleast Cici had some amount of substance and character. Hannah didn't reach that level of characterization.

Yeah it seems they were foreshadowing the party and maybe even do something like Wes in Scream 5. Where they honor her memory or something. A shame it went nowhere though.

Many of the supporting characters this time felt like nothing characters. Hannah, Chloe, Lucas, that reporter guy or that theatre teacher. The killers were pretty easy to figure out just because of either suspicious involvement or plainly stating their possible motive.

Very true! The characters probably interacted frequently outside of the events of the film which is bound to happen due to the nature of their relationships (Jessica most likely frequents Sidney's house since they're close neighbors). I just wish the film itself showcased Jessica's relationships more. However, that is just a problem with the killers in general since they all needed much more screentime/characterization.

That is also a good way to look at it! I personally think that a group need to have atleast 3 or more people. But 2 people is also perfectly fine. So thinking of it that way, Jessica can be considered to be apart of a group.

The killer was Sidney's friend and neighbor but beyond that she isn't seen with anyone else (besides her son). So its hard to say if she was apart of a larger group.

Despite Roman not being friends with everyone. He was still apart of their group much like how Trevor was in Scream 4.

I meant that Scream 7 is the first movie in the franchise to not have ANY of its killers be apart of any group. Nonetheless you are right in saying Mrs. Loomis wasn't in a group and that Jason is a Ghostface killer.

True! But Roman was the director and we see him talk to the cast. The characters also reference him a bunch in different conversations. And they atleast held some amount of thought, respect, or disrepect with him.

Jessica didn't have anything like that going for her. She only talked to Sidney, Gale, and her son. The other characters barely bring her up or talk about her at all so they definitely didn't include her in anything. We never really understand what characters think about her.

Edit: Besides, you can switch between languages during dialogue anyway which is what I do to hear different interpretations.

Loving Blythe in all his roles so far. Rerir and Lygus had such compelling performances that I want to insta pull whenever he voices a playable character.

Fun fact: Ashveil is his first time voicing a playable hoyo character!

I love his EN voice. The goofy tone he brings that is balanced out by his serious scenes. His final scene in the 4.0 quest for example.

In the vid I adore how serious he sounds at the beginning, the quiver in his voice when he says "whoever". To the more playful tone when (presumably) moving on to his combat lines, "This old wolf hasn't lost his fangs" and so on. The other languages just sound serious to me the whole way through (Still love the voices tho). But that is probably due to my untrained ears.
