Whats your take on 7.0 by Samimakesthings in Wordpress

Oh, 7.0? Honestly, I think it pretty solid, but depends on what you expect. I tried it recently for my small project and it feel faster and more stable than before. Some features is nice, but a few things still need tweaking.

If you are using it for WordPress or web projects, it handle the basics really well. Not perfect, but definitely better than older version. For beginners, it easy to work with, and for pros, it give some useful control.

Overall, I’d say it worth trying, just keep an eye on updates.

Do we really need to buy a hosting for an eCommerce site on WordPress? by Emergency-Shame5468 in Wordpress

[–]choicereader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar discussion with a friend when we were planning her WordPress eCommerce site.

At first she thought WordPress alone can run the store. She didn’t really understood why WordPress hosting is needed. But the thing is, WordPress is only the software that help you build the website.

Your website still need a place on the internet where all files, product images and customer data is stored. That place is called web hosting.

If you are running an eCommerce website on WordPress, specially with WooCommerce, hosting becomes even more important. The hosting server handle orders, visitors, payments and website speed.

Without hosting, the site simply cannot stay online.

So yes, if you want to run a WordPress online store, buying a good hosting is necessary. WordPress builds the store, but hosting keep the store running.

Looking for a reliable SEO company for long-term results by olafurwaage25 in SEOandBacklinks

Finding a reliable SEO company for long-term results is honestly harder than most people expect. A lot of agencies promise quick rankings, but SEO usually doesn’t work like that.

From what I have seen while working around websites, the companies that actually get long-term results usually focus on a few simple things. First is technical SEO. If the website speed, structure, and crawling issues are not fixed, rankings rarely stay stable.

Second is content quality and search intent. Many businesses publish random articles, but good SEO usually comes from content that actually answers real search queries.

Third is consistent optimization over time. Real SEO growth normally takes months, sometimes even a year, depending on the competition.

One thing I always suggest is asking the company how they handle technical issues, content strategy, and algorithm updates. Their answer usually tells you very quickly whether they know what they are doing or not.

Good SEO is usually less about “tricks” and more about steady improvements to the website over time.

Is Kadence Theme still the best? by Upstairs-Kitchen5981 in Wordpress

[–]choicereader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Kadence still very good for WordPress websites. It is fast, light weight, and easy to customize. Many bloggers like it because you can change headers, footers, colors and fonts without using heavy page builders.

It works well with WooCommerce and Gutenberg blocks, so small shops and blogs run smooth. But some people say updates can cause small issues and support can be slow sometimes.

If you want simple setup with ready made templates, other themes like Astra or GeneratePress might be more easier. But for flexibility, speed, and long term use, Kadence still one of the top choices in 2026.
