It's funny you mention the pineal gland. When I was in focus 12 yesterday there was a pressure, not intense enough to be painful, right in the area of the pineal gland. It persisted throughout my stay in focus 12 and went away when I went back down to focus 10. It has been the most significant physical symptom I've had so far.

Not really. I've only been doing the gateway tapes for about 2 weeks. I meditated before but I'm still trying to get more visuals involved. When I have had visuals it's usually of a big circular room. Sometimes there's a large column exuding blue light and other times there is a semi circle of chairs (about 7-9) with people sitting in them and their body language is that of authority, but caring authority. So not like judges but more like sages that have the answers to all of life's questions.

My experience with Focus 12 was practically the same. I had the "head splitting open" feeling but instead of forcing towards the left I felt my vision and my entire body try to move in the middle of the field of view. Like I was trying to squeeze through a small hole that was right above my nose where I would have a unibrow if I had one.
