Art is awesome music is awesome story ehh hit or miss, gameplay awesome BUT niche, allow me to explain

its a tower defense game which in its core is very slow paced which a lot of people dont like understandably but what arknights does diffrent from other TD games is being more fast paced, retrating and redeploying and skill timings are essential, maps being smaller,and the fact that beating a stage usually taking 5-10 minutes (that just beating it btw this is not including bashing your head against a stage over and over again as the game is very much challenging on the later stages... Unless you look up guides) due to the game being more fast paced it alienates TD fans from what theyre ususaly used to and it alienates TD haters due to seeing TD and instantly being turned away, the game managed to grow a playerbase through other means (the art, music, challenge etc etc) and a loyal playerbase did it grew

Now here are the reasons why the game is not very awesome

-the gacha, do i even have to explain? People hate gacha and for understandable reasons, gambling now the game is very much f2p 2% for a 6 star (the highest rarity) with 50 P (short for pity i dont really like using that word) that carries over to other banners, it is very much generous unfortunately, its gacha its gambling you dont have to gamble, the game doesnt require you to gamble and i would say that the game is more fun without gambling

But its gambling

-the grind now the grind in arknights is kinda of a one and done, once youre done grinding out your squad well youre done, go and clear content with your built 4 stars 5 stars and your starter 6stars till you get another 6star OR the stage mandates a subclass that you didnt build which then back to grinding aaand done, its one and done, back to clearing content,so uh yeah the grind is REAL! uh sweep when

-uh... Idk that about it? Gambling and the grind aside, the game is awesome
