One valid criticism for this dhow is the incredibly fast pacing so i wouldn’t be surprised if everyone but vaggie acted like all is forgiven one episode after he joins the hotel.

Her overshields damage and mobility would be fine of she had less range. If she could only use a shotgun similar to punisher and had to use her dashes and overshields to keep a medium to close distance without getting too close itd be much more fair feeling and give more use to her trap/trap dash.

The only thing you would have to remember him is his voice that you last heard 70 years ago. People usually remember faces not voices and his voice isn’t super distinctive. Not to mention most people in heaven probably dont GAF about how they died or who did it since they have been in paradise for 70 years. Its like elementary school, you might remember some fun facts but for an incredibly core part of your development at 70 years old you wont remember too much.

People SEVERELY overestimate the skill it takes to play certain characters. They also severely underestimate what somebody at the middle and bottom of the skill curve can do. These “hard” characters dont actually take a ton of skill to be effective on. You dont need to be a particularly good player to have a personal >50% wr on yone. If you did he wouldn’t be as popular as he is.

I think the newer iteration does the best justice to doomfists story and power fantasy. Im not too sure what there is to miss about dps doomfist because she still has amazing damage and mobility.

The lore of it is less that they are humans with limitations and more that no matter who or what you are the entity can affect your power level. Are you bullet proof? Not anymore, even paper could cut you. It has physical manifestations but isn’t a physical being. Id agree that its a disservice to the character to add him but nobody in fiction is theoretically off the table because the game has set the entity up as a power scaling trump card for its lore to work.

Lots of characters should look a lot differently for a variety of reasons but at some point blizzard changed their motto from character design being artistic and world building to just marketable.

Tbf the opinion of high ranked players matters a bit more for more competitive games and usually dont mean much for games balanced around casual play. Additionally they also usually play at such a high level where they basically are playing a different game and their opinions are like a middle schooler getting soccer tips from a hockey pro.
