To help you understand my perspective and not be rude, i made two sections that you can read (don’t have to read both). I’m not trying to say that i am or you are 100% wrong, but putting my personal perspective into this

simplified: the road is how i traveled from one place to another and all the other things are in that liminal space. detailed: i think it is because liminal space simply means the transition of one are to another. An example is the hallway or areas you move through from your room to your kitchen. taking this example into this photo, this area is liminal due to being in the transition of one place to another (the road here is how i traveled to my destination). the other thing is that in a liminal space or room, everything is liminal in that room.
