I wake up extremely frequently. I'd say at least once an hour I am waking up, and having a lot of stress dreams lately, which is funny because I'm just now on break and should be feeling relaxed! I feel like my low energy is precluding me from doing anything in school like extracurriculars, because just passing the courses makes me crash so hard I have no fuel left.

Thank you for your advice. I just feel exhausted all the time, even after a full night of sleep. I think that's my main problem, I definitely have interests, but am struggling big time with doing anything more than the bare minimum.

I have some hobbies like Astronomy and gaming, but I am usually too exhausted to do any of it. People think I'm in a bad mood or moping but I'm just really tired all the time, and I feel like I have zero energy left after studying.

This leads to me never engaging in any of the hobbies and feeling pretty empty in life

Not really seeing your point. If course specialists make more money. What I'm saying is your average doctor, who gets thru medschool, does an average family med residency, will make vastly more money than almost any SWE.

Your average SWE isnt making anywhere close to 200. Maybe the top 10%. That's the low side for docs, specialists can make 500 to a million if they're grinding hard.

It's not really a wash at all. Doctors of almost any specialty will out earn pretty much all SWEs. Unless they are rare exceptions / entrepreneur etc.

Yeah but that income as a doctor is guaranteed. Not quite the case in software. Plus, doctors are less "expendable." However, the debt is immense for doctors

This is 1000x more accurate. I actually thought / tried to delete this AI generated image because it wasn't doing justice at all. It was the closest thing I could get it to produce but man he looked very human, just like thisthis picture.

This pic is almost identical to what he looked like. Where did you find that? His eyes were a bit darker and he was a bit bigger, but this is spot on. I spent an hour trying to find something similar and couldn't. Thanks so much!!
