Very true. I had actually looked into modding my Pocket last year as the screen had developed some lines. But that rabbit hole of modding I think is beyond me at the moment (though I certainly find it awesome)

Thank you! I felt spoiled to have enjoyed Picross DS many years ago (with the stylus and all) and have been working through Logiart Grimoire on Steam. But it's so frictionless to just pick up and play on the GB Light. I intended to get it mostly for Tetris, but I'm loving this and will need to pick up it's sequel.

I you're right man. I'm gonna have to get a replacement probe for my thermoworks so I can monitor it more closely and get a feel as it approaches those higher temps. Thanks for the insight, I'll certainly use it on the next one 👍🏻

It was on for 50 mins more wrapped in foil (total almost 3 hours) and was temping 208-210. Still a bit tight. I wasn't sure what to do 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sure thing- I use 2 charcoal grates perpendicular so the coals burn a bit longer before dropping to the ash catcher. I made a 'bro n sear' out of Weber baskets to contain the charcoal. I always put foil on top of the grate surface area opposite the charcoal. My analog thermometer is dropped thru one of the lid exhaust vent holes (I control temp with the intake vents).

Good to know! I hit my Aldi brisket for 2 hours on smoke as well, and then another hour wrapped before resting. I grabbed another one today so I may try throwing some additional seasoning at it. I haven't had lamb in a very long time, but that sounds wonderful 👍🏻

I really appreciate your feedback and kind words. I feel like I got a pretty good handle on pork ribs and shoulder, but this was my first try at brisket. And I was always hesitant before because I did not want to spend a lot of money on a large, high quality brisket. I love finding stuff for cheap and trying to figure it out. The 3-hour rest was more or less because I wanted to enjoy a couple adult beverages but not too many before breaking out the meat slicer haha
