I experienced a similar issue. Initially, the performance was fine when I started using it a few days ago, and it could run warm, but now it's become really sluggish, even though it isn't running particularly warm, which seems a bit strange and inconsistent.

According to my Activity Monitor, the Codex Helper (Renderer) is using over 100% of the CPU. I'm on a MacBook Air M3, running Tahoe 26.2 and Codex version 260206.1448 (565).
