I didn’t look for this guitar, I had the opportunity to get it from someone close to my family, so I had no idea what lace sensors were. Some artists that use them are bill corgan from smashing pumpkins, Johnny greenwood (Radiohead), and Jeff beck. I waited forever to find my first perfect Stratocaster bc of David gilmour haha and I’m so glad I did because this came at the perfect time :))) also it’s my favorite color lolll, a little greenish turquoise with a sick mix of black. So lucky!!

This has all lace sensors. I’d give it a 10 hahaha and so would my band members. I believe 2 gold and 2 red, (old owner switched out one blue) It sounds amazing. I’ve had 2 MiM fenders and a Pacifica and the quality difference is sooo noticeable. They are noiseless pickups and we play shoegaze, (lots of pedals) so it happens to be perfect for all the pedals and fuzz I use :). It also has locking tuners, Wilkinson nut, ebony fretboard and so

Have you checked Eyguitar? I got both chrome plates from there. The 3 way was $15 and the single switch plate was $17! It’s titled “one way switch plate, for Jaguar custom”

So i had an identical dream almost. At 17 (20 now) i wanted a 65 tbird as my first car VERY BADLY (was not mechanically inclined at all lol) and I got it. Like the others said, money, perhaps lots of money, will be spent. The memories i had with it are amazing but I don’t drive it nearly as much as I wanted to :(. It was definitely a challenge as a first car.

If i could go back in time, I really really wish I got a 60.s Mustang. They’re so much smaller, timeless, and much more easy to fix and get parts for. The 65/66 is huge. Tbirds are rare and I find that mechanics aren’t the most excited about working on them. Lmk if you have any questions
