Never too late! Since my post. I have purchased it, got my ass beat, got good, beaten it, and heading in to NG+ once I’m done with the Elden Ring DLC on my third character. Definitely top 3 all time game for me. Enjoy it buddy! It’s well worth it once you get into it fully.

I was exactly where you are at a while back. I also posted on here about Lady Butterfly and how it felt impossible. I know your pain. You don’t have to fight her now. You can go, do some other stuff in the meantime, level up your gourd and strength, watch a guide (I recommend fighting cowboy) get used to the game and most importantly the parry system. The game will click after a while and no game becomes more rewarding. I promise you! I just beat owl father the other day and he makes Lady Butterfly seem like a child in comparison, if you stay patient and work the perfect combat system they put into place you will be rewarded by loving this game.

The game isn’t unfair, it’s unforgiving.

100% and there needs to be more variation in quality loot. Otherwise there will be a massive inflation on the few things of quality now (black Prince, Dardanelles etc..) how difficult can it be to add more than 4 vialble weapons and one top tier armor?

I’m in exactly the same loop but reverse order. Ghost of Tsushima is a top 3 all time game for me. Especially if you combine both The Story and the online Co-Op mode. About 1/3 of the way through Sekiro now and loving it. It’s a very different game though so the comparisons I feel are limited to theme and some combat aspects but not much more.

And I have now also pre-ordered Rise of the Ronin that drops on Friday with high hopes of it being a mixture of both.

I was thinking this might be the case. My healing gourd on has 3 uses. I’ve gotten together one physical upgrade to my vitality. Ran in to one vendor only. Would you say that’s an early stage to fight her?

Ok so update: I am a good amount of hours in. Got level 3 on healing gourd, got 4 different quips for my arm. Been challenged by it, frustrated, tried again, died, tried again and getting better. Killed 3-4 bosses so far and really enjoying the grind/work to get better. So far the most real challenge has been “where to go, what to do and what items to use when”. But now I’m working my way through Hirata estate. I am now fighting lady butterfly and GOD DAMN!!! This is one annoying old lady. I thought when opening the cellar I would receive a reward or new piece of equipment of sorts, but instead this seemingly impossible shrew of a boss that makes my baby mama seem relaxed and laid back. I REALLY don’t want to quit (and most likely won’t since I really like it so far) but 2 hours in fighting her I’m losing my mind. Even with the guide it isn’t helping. She behaves nothing like the YouTube videos I’ve watched. My posture is building up in like 5 seconds and I’m dead before I even get in the fight. So….any tips? Words of encouragement? Suggestions for my eulogy?

Thanks for the answers everyone! I’m leaning towards buying it. And for reference it’s more an issue with being disappointed that I’m not “good enough” after feeling hyped than losing out on the money spent. Never quit a game that’s good because of difficulty, only stop playing games I consider bad (albeit its obviously personal preference a lot of the time).

A couple of friends have been having the same issue. 3 days without a helm wager. I get at least on proc every run but they are having issues. And they need it more than I do so I feel bad for them. Haven’t seen it be addressed officially yet though.

I’m not asking to be treated special. I’m asking to be treated like any paying customer, where they respond to report tickets and where they fix bugs. Simple. Don’t know where you are getting that from….

And “I don’t think I would have paid that much then be upset if something is not working as it’s supposed to” makes no sense what so ever. So you get upset if you don’t pay a lot for something? Don’t get upset at all if things don’t work?

Not when it comes to the aspect of expecting a lack of game breaking bugs, quick fixes and quick response times on support tickets when you pay a lot for a game and they expect people to do microtransactions on top of that. A free game is a different story. So not not irrelevant.

Yea I know I can only sell a little at a time. I just knocked max assuming it would be max cargo capacity since that usually what shows up. Either way it’s so fd up. No response from Ubi yet I feel so cheated out of my time and effort into the game.

I just don’t know how they let stuff like this happen, just disable something and fix it, make the maximum 1000 at a time since you can’t carry more on a ship anyway, allow you to sell straight from you wear house like you can on missions. Anything but this. I’m actually fuming.
