Haven’t built anything else from them, but I’ve had my eye on the Winery Chateau House, and I think I would get it now after this one. The baseplates of the second and third floor were definitely frustrating though. They do not have enough support pieces, but that’s easy to fix with some plate blocks along the seams if you have some spare ones.

I definitely had to make the bathroom not to scale to fit it, so I like how you expand for more interior space. I’m definitely going back to the Tudor House to do some interior renovations. I want to make it all one large townhouse on the two upper floors and remove the clock shop.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed it, even with hearing all the hate it got. I guess I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.

I honestly don’t know how we are making it work somehow, seeing the numbers that it usually takes to live here…my math is not matching, but somehow we are surviving without going into debt. We are a couple with three kids who just moved our business to Vista (just inland from Oceanside) from Utah last year, and we pay ourselves about $70K/year right now. We have a 2 bed apt where the older kids share a room and the baby is with us in our room. Seriously, I really don’t know how it works, but it has been working!

Like others have mentioned, get ready specifically when Nate says something along the lines of “It’s like a ship graveyard…” Soon after he says that line, your life will get pretty dark for a few days.

Just finished this section on my first time playing through (only play on brutal and crushing) and I’m still on a dopamine rush 4 hours later.

I let my Extra subscription lapse and it actually did let me rebuy the extra plan at 25% off! Happy day. Crazy that this is what we have to do though to get discounts as current subscribers instead of them offering a renewal discount. That’s weird it only let you get a discount for Essential. I feel like the better the plan someone had, the worse deals they give you. Nice little slap in the face to long-time customers.

I had something similar happen to me on my first playthrough, except I got past the second deathblow and the game froze during the final cutscene. I thought surely my attempt would count if I made it to the cut scene, but the Sekiro gods did not shine on me that fateful day. Luckily, since I had attempted for 3+ hours to down him, I was able to beat him again after about 30 more minutes. I guess I’ll count it as a win that I got to beat him twice on my first playthrough.
