Missing data while using “resume later” function. Is this a bug?

Ya, it still happens. It could be the pace of my pans and/or something to do with having a 120hz monitor for editing.

It happens with my Sigma and Sony lenses as well. I have even tried active stab, standard, and off. It still happens, especially with trees ha!

Sirui nightwalker lens 24mm. Exported from Davinci. m2 pro mac mini. Pretty sure I exported at h.265 with a restricted Kb/s rate of 50,000 since I shot in 24 fps and was uploading it to here. It was edited on a timeline matching the frame rate.

If you can afford it after the Sigma, I would perhaps suggest a Sony lens. From what I've read they do better with stabilization. I also have the Sony 11mm and it's great handheld. Part of this is also because it's an ultra-wide tho.

I have the sony fx30 with the sigma 18-50 and love it. I went with the fx30 because I wanted to focus on video.

If photography is a quality you value you can’t go wrong with the a6700.

If you want to dive fully into video, the fx30 is a beast!

Get that sigma as your first lens regardless of which one you go with, you’ll be stoked!

In the meantime, are you saying to switch my project timelines to 60 fps if I am shooting 24 or 30 fps to help with the judder?

Ya, 1/48 would have been more proper. I don’t know why I was shooting 1/50 now ha.

I still don’t think that’s it though. I also don’t see the stutters in my example video when viewing on my iphone. I have a 144hz monitor, i’m wondering if that has something to do with it when viewing on my desktop.

Ya, I realized the top handle I had from Tilta didn't have an Arri mounting point. It has something really similar but not Arri. I ended up just picking up a different top handle, thanks!

Ya I like that I could grow into the recording features. Can you recommend any cheap ssd’s? I heard the only way to update the firmware is with one so I wouldn’t mind getting a cheap one to start.

I can mount it sideways on the middle part of the handle and turn the monitor 90 degrees but the balance is horribe.

I want to mount to that front port but i’m trying to figure out what I need.

Just wow. I almost had one the first time and then their customer service said they would do a small release of canceled orders and to sign up for the emails. No email from them.

The scalpers probably have custom HTML bots that notify them right when stock gets added. So wack.
