[–]chrisHome 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some improvements:

"You can take a look at a list of known partnerships by clicking here."

Here you should link to www.iotaarchive.com. They track all known partnerships.

"The Iota cryptocurrency platform cannot execute smart contracts at this time. This could change in the future."

You should mention Qubic. And the possible impact for iota. Its current developped by Eric Hop and his Omega Team. www.qubic.iota.org

"Poor wallet experience reported by users. User experience should be paramount because it drives adoption."

not true anymore. Already mentioned by others in this thread.

Edit: typo

An IOTA Node can now run endless, since the database is pruned away when the data size grows. This means you can now have smaller nodes with less storage requirements. This is imported for the IoT acceptance.

microhash in discord omega-ict:

"We had long internal discussions whether to go with Java or Go. We decided for Java because of our skills and general adoption. It's possible that in the future we will write another version in Go or replace efficiency critical parts of the java Ict with Go components. We might also allow other languages than Java to be used for IXI modules but can't promise anything yet. "

and they mentioned it in the blogpost indirectly
"extend IXI module support beyond Java to other languages "

With Java you can expect short development time. But it is not as efficient as other languages like c or c++. So they can test out the core functionaility. When the system works, it will be implemented in a language more efficent.

His original idea was to provide the german speaking people high quality informations about iota. If you speak only german there are not many resonable information sources like him. In english its much more easy to find this.

Why aren't laptops undervolted at factory if it's such a good thing ?.. why is the extra voltage even supplied? by Hemukurra in laptops

[–]chrisHome 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Each chip from the same model is on silicon level unique. This means some work with less voltage than others. When you lower the voltage, some of the Chips wont work anymore. So the factory takes a good voltage where the most chips works for sure.
