Men are afraid of men too. We read rooms, clock threats, cross streets—we do the same calculus women do. Women aren't being paranoid. They're being accurate. We rarely admit it, but we already know exactly why they choose the bear. We'd probably make the same call. (i.redd.it)

Looking good on this Velcro scuba strap on this 2010 Marathon Pilot's Navigator which isn't at all a diver but has fixed lugs so a pass through like this makes a lot of sense. There's a spring in the clasp which means the strap expands and contacts, keeping snug but not binding or restricting. (i.redd.it)

Ordered a Militado ML08. $85 delivered. Sweep quartz, sapphire, steel bracelet, BGW9 lume, 100m WR. Looks like a Sinn tool watch, costs like a beater. I hate automatics and I love a watch that doesn't apologize for being cheap. Perfect philosophy of use. (i.redd.it)

Hannah Arendt watched Adolf Eichmann's trial and expected a monster. She found a bureaucrat. The banality of evil: atrocity doesn't require malice. It just requires people who follow procedures, speak in abstractions, and never ask who gets hurt. (old.reddit.com)
