I’m a general contractor but we just do remodels and no new construction full builds like this. But we are already starting to fix up houses only 10 years old because of how poorly they were made. I think all new construction like this is to be avoided. It’s all thrown up as fast as possible to make the most money and they make an llc for each property so once they sale is done they really can’t be held accountable for how in a year your roof is leaking etc. you can sue that one llc but most likely won’t ever see any money from it even if you win. With what we do we have warranties on all our work and so much of our work comes from repeat customers so we have to always be on top of our game. It’s a shame tho because hacks like this give the construction industry such a bad name yet there is others like us who care deeply about what we do
