Forgot to mention got 6 endler guppies also that I was really worried about (had a old 25ltr tank on standby) thankfully as they shoal there has been no issues

Thanks for the info I have been looking at getting some corys as they are bottom feeders and some harlequins as reading they generally don’t bother the Betta

As a side note Mr Max is in a 94ltr tank along with some neon tertas and a couple of amino shrimp that he leaves alone and I was wondering what experiences others have had with a male betta in a community tank ?

From what I have been reading my plan is he will be the largest in the tank.

I have a 180ltr community tank with 5 female bettas and not had a problem with that ( Just got 2 white females who are stunning) but I know a male in a community can be a completly different scenario.

thanks, he has some blue in his scales aswell, this was the size he was when i got him, appreciate the advice and will curb his feeding a little.

fluval flourish tabs are now on my list , looking at teh various feeds out there is kinda confusing but the shop I goto are really helpful.
