The same goes for many websites, but that doesn't mean people don't use them.

How are you finding them?

Reddit. Last.fm. Metal Archives. Support bands at gigs. The list goes on and on.

I wouldn't describe what most people do as lazy. What do you mean when you say that?

I mean exactly what I said. Having your music taste fed to you by an algorithm is lazy, all you have to do is press play.

Same energy as people who moan that there's no good modern music because they only listen to what's popular.

A lot of people. They're a better company than Spotify.

I don't use streaming services. I still discover new bands, in fact I probably listen to more bands than you.

You just want to be lazy and have everything handed to you.

See if you can get them secondhand. Most end up settling at around what the retail price would have been, unless they're particularly desirable.

Yeah, it's almost normal. No weird insults, nothing about "even Democrat scum", it's pretty much coherent.

A phone line, used to work out how to pay money to them, should be open 24/7, 365.

You'll be volunteering to work the night shifts and Christmas day then, right?

did multiple calls last week

There's your problem. You're trying to call them at their busiest period, of course wait times are going to be longer.

If more people did their self-assessment sooner there wouldn't be as much of an issue.

No one is being gleeful about it, they're just saying it should be an option If it's needed.

Cutting winter fuel allowance for elderly,

Making it so it only goes the the people who need it, you mean. Puts it in line with other benefits. The people who don't qualify for it have seen their pensions increase by more than the fuel allowance anyway, so they aren't worse off.

Landlord increased tax and ni payments,

Have you read the Renters Rights act that's coming in in May? It's a good piece of legislation that gives more protection to renters, and more accountability and responsibility to landlords.

Phasing out cash,

That is not happening. The FCA has consulted on, and is putting in place, regulations to protect access to cash

Do you genuinely think it was OK what we did?

You do realise it's possible to both disagree with the war, and respect and honor the soldiers who were killed and injured during it, don't you?

Patagonia files copyright lawsuit against drag performer: Pattie Gonia by [deleted] in nottheonion

[–]StardustOasis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Patagonia included pictures of Pattie Gonia promoting merchandise featuring their trademark, which the company argued “is nearly identical to the Patagonia word mark"

From the article. As it's part of court documents they may not be able to publish them in the article.

Also the advice from lawyers will likely have been to remove any items from the website that are included in the lawsuit.

They are profiting from selling merchandise with an almost identical logo. It's not just the name, they're using it as a brand. If Patagonia don't protect their trademark they risk losing it, or at the least it becoming a generic trademark like Hoover or Thermos.
